Question 1

What is CartCairn?

Accepted Answer

CartCairn lets independent store owners manually inspect saved product pages, record a first observation, and compare later price or stock findings without changing the store.

Question 2

How do I set up CartCairn?

Accepted Answer

Owners sign up privately, then save their store URL and one or more product-page URLs in the private owner setup. The saved setup is visible only to the owner’s account and is used to choose pages for manual checks.

Question 3

Are my store and product-page URLs public?

Accepted Answer

No. The store URL, product-page URLs, and setup record belong to the private owner setup. They are not published as a public directory or shared as part of the FAQ.

Question 4

When do checks run?

Accepted Answer

Manual checks only. The owner chooses a saved product-page URL and starts a check when ready. Saving URLs does not start background monitoring, and always-on or unattended monitoring is unavailable in the current app scope.

Question 5

What does a manual check do?

Accepted Answer

A manual check reads one saved product page on demand and reports what the page-reading response can establish, such as whether the page was accessible and any observed price, stock, or link findings. If the page cannot be read, CartCairn shows an unavailable state instead of fabricating findings. It does not change or submit anything to your store.
